Coronavirus / Covid- 19 Information

To help us, please can you adhere to the following guidelines:

Showing Symptoms?

  • If you are showing symptoms of Coronavirus COVID-19 please DO NOT ENTER the Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic building.- Please return home and follow the NHS guidelines.
  • If anyone in your household (including yourself) has shown any symptoms of Coronavirus within 14 days of your appointment it is necessary that you contact Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic via email (daniel@leeds-hypnotherapy-clinic.co.uk) , immediately to reschedule. It is essential that you have followed government guidelines and self-isolated for the recommended time period before attending a rescheduled appointment.
  • Use Hand Sanitiser – (70%-alcohol hand sanitiser stations have been installed inside the entrance(s). All tenant staff and visitors should sterilise their hands when entering the building.
  • Signage outlining the building’s policy is displayed inside the entrance. 
  • Signage directing people to maintain social distancing and wait outside toilets/kitchens if necessary will be displayed. It will be left to each individual to use common sense and follow the government guidance to determine whether they can use the toilet whilst safely socially distancing, if other people are present.
  • All touch surfaces/contact points – door handles, push plates, exit buttons, entry keypads, bannisters, light switches, lift buttons etc – and the toilets in full will be cleaned between sessions and daily using products certified to kill coronaviruses.
  • If possible, some inner doors and toilet doors will be propped open to reduce the need to touch common surfaces.
  • Any contractors visiting the building for essential tasks such as fire system maintenance will take appropriate precautions and maintain social distancing.


  • Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic has arranged the consulting room, so that there is a three meter plus, distance between client and therapist.
  • Additional technology has been bought so that all visual aids are on a large screen allowing distance to be maintained.
  • 70%-alcohol hand sanitiser station is located at the entrance of the consulting room.
  • It is a clients choice whether they wish to wear a mask. It is also a clients decision whether they wish their therapist to wear a mask.
  • 3-Ply, 3 Layer Polypropylene Face masks are available to all visitors.
  • Please ask whether you wish your practitioner to be wearing one before your appointment.
  • It is currently recommended that face-masks are worn for both the safety of client and practitioner, when the recommended safe distance cannot be maintained . (The practitioners mask protects the client. The client’s mask protects the practitioner).
  • Multi-Purpose Vinyl gloves are available to all visitors.
  • All equipment such as pens are cleansed before a therapy session.
  • We have a ‘No Touch Infrared Forehead Thermometer’ – It is required that all visitors use this to check their temperature when asked.
  • We have a Philips AC0820/30 Series 800 Compact Air Purifier – High grade HEPA filter removes 99.5% of ultrafine particles (PM2.5), dust, pollen, allergens, gases, bacteria and viruses.
  • We have reduced the amount of face to face clients in a single day, to ensure that all precautions are met.
  • If you are showing any Coronavirus symptoms, you will be asked to leave the building immediately. You will be able to reschedule for another appointment.
  • Please bring your own bottled water /drink with you to your session. To prevent the transmission of the virus, we are not serving hot drinks. We will provide water if necessary however.


Consultancy and treatment at Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic has always been available via Video Call. The majority of clients who use this facility are people living abroad or others nearer to home who might find attending the clinic in person difficult. It might be that during the current Corona Virus alert, there are others seeking treatment who might wish to take advantage of the Video Call service. If so, please don’t hesitate to request such a session.
Video Call sessions will also be adopted (or appointments rescheduled) in cases when people are unable to attend in person for pre-booked sessions as a result of new government guidelines or restrictions.

Please note that by scheduling an appointment with Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic, you (the client) are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic operates a 48-hour cancellation notice policy; because of the work involved in preparing for each one of our clients prior to an appointment, we charge clients who fail to comply with the terms of our period of notice. We understand that sometimes, due to personal extenuating circumstances, a client might have to rearrange an appointment. If you cannot attend your booked appointment, please let us know at least twenty four hours before that appointment by email or by telephone and we will be happy to book you in at a later date. Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic reserves the right to charge the full fee for non-attendance or cancellations made without 48-hours’ notice.
Clients agree that sessions will be suspended if a patient is more than 20 minutes late in arriving for their scheduled appointment time. In such instance, the full fee will still be charged.
Sessions will be suspended if a client is verbally or physically aggressive towards any Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic practitioner.
The client agrees to provide Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic with an honest and accurate medical history.
The client agrees to disclose information regarding any medication he or she is taking.
The client agrees if he or she has a condition has been diagnosed by a medical practitioner he or she will provide evidence that his or her medical practitioner accepts that hypnotherapy is an appropriate course of treatment.
The client agrees that Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic may contact their GP or the necessary authorities if they lead him to believe that they may self-harm.
The client agrees that hypnotherapy is a treatment that guides him or her towards attaining targets agreed between him or her and his or her practitioner rather than being defined as a cure.
The client agrees that Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic, or any practitioner working for Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic, are not responsible for his or her physical or mental health.
The client agrees that Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic, or any practitioner working for Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic, are not responsible for his or her finances.
The client agrees that Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic reserves the right to contact appropriate authorities in instances where it is considered a child may be at risk.
The client agrees that sessions incorporate a motivational and straight talking coaching style.
The client agrees no refund will be issued to clients who leave any programme/package of their own volition before treatment is completed.
The client agrees that sessions incorporate a motivational and straight talking coaching style.
The client agrees that moaning is forbidden and that they are responsible for identifying solutions with the therapist.
The client agrees that sessions are visually recorded via cctv for safety reasons. All such recordings are subject to rules and laws of confidentiality and privacy as demanded under English law.
The client agrees that filming or recording sessions is only permitted by Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic.
The client agrees that any material I receive in treatment, including written work or recordings are subject to copyright and that I will not share them with any third parties.
The client agrees that they are aware that Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic has no disability access due to the architecture of the premises.
The client agrees that they will answer all questions to the best of knowledge and honestly.

What About The Laws Against Spam?

They exist. However, as with any body of laws, any individual Country spam statutes can and will vary. The spam laws of each Country can not only vary, but also have different definitions of unsolicited commercial email. Additionally, there may be various federal agencies keeping track of spam, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We protect you by ensuring that you are 100% in control of whether or not you ever hear from Leeds Hypnotherapy Clinic by email initially or in the future, as detailed in our “No Tolerance” policy below.

Our No Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy

WE HAVE A NO TOLERANCE SPAM POLICY. We do not email unless someone has filled out an “opt in” form or “shopping cart webform including PayPal” expressing an interest in our information or products and/or services, or otherwise directly and proactively requesting it. We are only building relationships with people who wish to learn more about what we have to offer and willingly subscribe to our content and contact through email. You are always completely in control of whether you receive email communication from leeds-hypnotherapy-clinic.co.uk and can terminate at any time.
