I have recently been diagnosed with functional dyspepsia, which is where the brain miscommunicates messages to the gut (similar to IBS). I suspected that my deep rooted phobias were exasperating my symptoms (claustrophobia and vomit) and so l found Daniel at The Hypnotheapy Clinic. This is one of the best decisions l've ever made. Daniel is a calm, gentle guy who is brutally honest about his own amazing life experiences which made me connect with him instantly. He taught me how to trust myself 100% in any situation and to try and trust others almost as much. After just two sessions l challenged myself and went in a couple of lifts on my way to my next appointment! I wouldn't say they are my favourite places to be but l am able to do this after 35 years of avoidance. I also watched some videos of people vomiting on YouTube without feeling repulsed! I have almost forgotten l have functional dyspepsia as l'm too thrilled with the fact that my phobias are getting under control at long last. Life is too short to feel trapped. l would therefore highly recommend seeing Daniel and taking that positive step in getting your life back on track. Thank you Daniel.

Having tried unsuccesfully to give up smoking myself a number of times, I looked into hypnotherapy and found Daniel. I'm so glad I did. The smoking cessation session was amazing and Daniel was such a calming, knowledgeable and empowering guide. The session was really relaxed and I left as a non-smoker, something which I will always be grateful for. If you want to quit, I can't think of a better person to help.

Daniel was so kind and understanding. He helped me to overcome some general anxieties but also anxiety around driving. After our session I was able to pass my test and I truly believe that he aided me to do so. Our session felt very safe and calming, without the pressure that other talking therapies can sometimes bring. I would definitely recommend to those struggling with anxiety either generally or in specific areas of their life.

I have had a few sessions with Daniel over my phobia of needles and blood tests. I was always terrified of them for as long as I can remember.

I had my last session two years ago and recently was not feeling well and needed a blood tests. The only other time I had one was in A&E. So going to the doctors for this freaked me out massively.

I contacted Daniel again and he was kind enough to send me an audio file I could listen to. This helped me massively and I have genuinely never been so calm over a test like this. I had always thought I would never be able to do this.

I had this new sense of calm which I was quite confused with. Don’t get me wrong. I was still terrified. But I wasn’t freaking out how I would usually. I had little panic sessions for about 3 minutes. Then calm again.

Anyways I got my blood test done. My grandma always comes with me and she was so shocked that I still had colour in my face and was talking. As usually I can’t speak.

Ps only reason it’s 4 stars is because it’s quite expensive treatment and I’m still scared. But not as scared as before.

That’s a significant step forward with a long-standing phobia, and you should feel proud of the progress you’ve made.

Phobias often improve in stages, so the fact that you were able to stay calmer, keep talking, and get through the test shows how much things have already shifted. As you continue to face these situations, the remaining fear will usually continue to reduce over time.

I’m also glad the audio recording helped when you needed support again.

Regarding the cost, I completely understand that treatment can feel expensive. However, with the time, training, preparation, and business costs involved in providing professional therapy, it wouldn’t be possible to run the practice otherwise. I do always try to keep my rates as affordable as possible.

My husband had a few sessions with Daniel, he was finding a busy family life stressful and needed a better, more positive way to manage his relationships and gain some coping strategies. I went to see Daniel as I was struggling massively with sleep deprivation. I honestly can’t thank Daniel enough for the help and sessions that we’ve had. Not only did the sessions help my sleep but they also helped with my anxiety and other fears I had in life. This goes well and truly beyond my expectations. I’ve been seeing Daniel on and off for years. He has helped me with numerous different issues that life has thrown at me and I’ve never had a bad experience with him. He is a brilliant listener and provides you with great advice and a safe space to express yourself and vent. I’ve had sessions where we just speak, I’ve also had Hypno sessions and every time I’ve seen him I’ve had better experiences in my life… I can’t recommend him enough as a therapist but he is also a very nice guy in general
